If the exterior is designed with nature as its theme, the interior is designed with "first driver" a playbook with a clear objective that luxury requires leather, wood and a considerable amount of brushed metal and chrome.
rather than going all-digital with the look and feel of the central gauges, Infiniti will all Nissan and provides easy -to read, timeless design with white on black round speedometer and tachometer. In the center, a rectangular digital display shows outside temperature, fuel range, gear selection and more, but thats it. As someone who spends a lot of time behind the wheel of many luxury sedans, simple is a nice change from many overly complex offers today.
climate-controlled front seats provide excellent support and fit. leather stitching adds to the look and function, and the side bolsters protrude to increase support, but never encroach on the point of discomfort. A steering wheel 4-spoke offers easy access to a multitude of features including the obligatory cruise control and audio system. I like the feel of the steering wheel in my hands. I am less impressed by steering feel, however, as it appears at low speed heavy and too sensitiv e when driving on the highway. The 2016 Infiniti Q70L 3.7 AWD is long to begin with, so I prefer would like the configuration management to take into account and shrink the driving experience to something closer to average height. rear seat space is exceptional and there are so many legs that I find it difficult to reach the back of the front seat. Our tester is equipped with an interior ambient lighting option, which makes getting in and out at night a little more entertaining.
Infotainment
Bose Surround Sound audio provides if the order the Deluxe option with Technology Package on our tester. A total of 16 speakers are strategically placed throughout the interior, many of which are located on the tops of the front seat next to the headrest.
For those not yet ready to fully embrace the only digital world to come, a CD is included. Sound quality is impressive, with crisp highs and lows seemingly bottomless, but I knew better in other luxury sedans, including the above Lexus LS with its 19 -speaker Mark Levinson system.
touch screen navigation features voice recognition and turn-by-turn, more NavTraffic to make your journey a little easier. Birdview and 3D imaging compliments building this system already smooth. Lane Guidance and up to three days weather forecasts are included, as well as the Google calendar and various other features for the first 6 months as part of the entire Infiniti Connection.
Powertrain
If ever there was a gasoline engine that deserves to be in the hall of the powertrain fame, this is it. Based on time-honored 3.7-liter V6 24-valve Nissan, this variation produces 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an automatic transmission with seven-speed Adaptive Shift Control, all-wheel drive pushes forward with a control commander direction at all times.
